A pool in Dubai is not a set-and-forget asset. Between ambient temperatures that hover above 40°C for five months of the year, airborne sand and dust from the surrounding desert, and evaporation rates that concentrate whatever is in your water, a pool that goes unmaintained for even ten days can turn from crystal-clear to an algae bloom that takes a full drain and acid wash to correct. We have been maintaining residential pools across Dubai since 2013 — the same year we started the business — and we service everything from compact villa plunge pools in JVC to 15-metre infinity-edge pools in Emirates Hills. What our pool maintenance service covers
A pool stays clear when the water, the circulation and the cleaning all keep up with each other. Pool maintenance covers all three.
Water testing and balancing
Chlorine, pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness and stabiliser, adjusted for the season. In the summer heat, sanitiser is used up far faster than in the cooler months.
Cleaning
Skimming, brushing walls and steps, vacuuming the floor, and emptying skimmer and pump baskets so the water keeps moving freely.
Filtration
Backwashing sand filters, cleaning cartridge elements, and replacing filter media when it no longer holds fine dust and debris.
Pumps, chlorinators and dosing
Pumps that run noisily, lose prime or leak, salt chlorinator cells that scale up, and automatic dosing systems that need recalibrating.
Lights, heaters and pool-side equipment
Pool lights, heat pumps and the equipment room as a whole — the parts that are easy to forget until they stop working.
Recovering a green or cloudy pool
Bringing back a pool that has been neglected or has had an equipment failure, and finding out why it turned so it does not happen again.
Common pool problems in Dubai
Cloudy water that does not clear
Usually poor filtration or out-of-balance water: a filter that needs backwashing or new media, a pump not running long enough, or pH and alkalinity that have drifted.
Green water or green corners
Algae has taken hold because sanitiser dropped too low, often after a chlorinator stopped working or a service was missed in hot weather. Corners and steps with poor circulation go first.
A layer of sand and dust on the floor
Wind-blown sand settles faster than the skimmer can collect it. It needs vacuuming, and a filter that is loading up quickly may need backwashing more often.
The water level keeps dropping
Evaporation in summer is significant, but a level that falls faster than expected can mean a leak in the shell, the fittings or the pipework to the equipment room.
Scale on tiles and the chlorinator
Hard water and high calcium leave white deposits at the waterline and on the salt cell. Keeping the water balanced slows it down; a scaled cell produces less chlorine.

How We Work
From your first call to job completion — here's what to expect.
Weekly scheduled visit
Your assigned technician arrives on the same day each week. You don't chase us — we show up. We carry chemicals, test kits, and common spare parts in the van.
Water test and chemical balance
We test pH, free chlorine, total alkalinity, calcium hardness, and cyanuric acid (stabiliser) levels using commercial-grade titration kits — not dip strips. Every adjustment is logged.
Physical cleaning
Surface skimming to remove debris, wall and floor brushing to prevent algae attachment, vacuuming, and skimmer and pump basket clearing. We also backwash sand filters or clean cartridge elements as required.
Equipment inspection
Pump running current, filter pressure, chlorinator cell condition, automatic valves, and pool lights are checked on every visit. We flag issues before they become breakdowns — a failing pump seal caught early is a AED 150 fix; a burned-out pump motor caught late is AED 1,200.
WhatsApp report after every visit
You receive a summary: chemicals added, water readings before and after, any equipment flagged, and the next scheduled visit date. Full transparency — you know exactly what was done and why.
Before the first visit
We set up a maintenance plan around your pool and its equipment.
- The approximate size and depth of the pool.
- Whether it uses a salt chlorinator, liquid chlorine or an automatic dosing system.
- Photos of the equipment room: pump, filter, chlorinator and any control panel.
- Any current problems — colour, smell, noise, leaks or equipment that will not start.
- How gate and equipment-room access will work on visit days.
