How We Started
When MAN Technical Services started in Dubai in 2013, the maintenance industry here had a specific problem: most companies were middlemen. You called a number, they took your details, they called someone else, and a stranger you knew nothing about turned up. If the work was bad, the person who sold you the job was suddenly very hard to reach.
We built something that operated differently. Every technician who comes to your door is a MAN Technical employee — not a freelancer picked from a pool, not a sub-contractor. Background-checked, trained, covered by our insurance. Every van is ours. If something goes wrong after a job, you call the same number and we come back. No deflection, no "that was a different team." That's the only model we've ever operated.
We started in JVC and The Springs with 4 technicians and one van. The team is now over 50 people, covering 90+ Dubai communities. The review count reached 498 five-stars without us ever chasing a client to leave one. Licences & Credentials
Every licence listed below is verifiable with the relevant Dubai authority. We operate under full legal compliance — not as a general contractor with subcontracted specialists.
DEWA Approved Contractor
All electrical work is performed by DEWA-certified technicians. DEWA certification requires passing UAE wiring standards examinations and is renewed periodically — it cannot be self-declared. Our electricians carry their DEWA cards and can present them on any job.
Dubai Municipality Licence
MAN Technical Services LLC is a licensed maintenance contractor under Dubai Municipality. Our licence number is verifiable via the Dubai REST app or Dubai Municipality's contractor register.
Municipality Water Tank Certification
Our water tank cleaning team holds Dubai Municipality certification for residential and commercial tank cleaning and disinfection. We issue official completion certificates on every job — the same certificates accepted by building management companies and insurers for compliance documentation.
Full Public Liability Insurance
Every job carried out by MAN Technical Services is covered by public liability insurance. If our work causes damage to your property, you are protected. We can provide a copy of our insurance certificate on request — something no unlicensed contractor can offer.
Why this matters:Dubai's maintenance market has a large number of unlicensed operators. An unlicensed electrician working in your home creates a liability that falls on you — not them — if something goes wrong. Always ask for licence documentation before work begins. We provide ours without being asked.
Our History in Dubai
Started with 4 technicians in JVC and The Springs. Our first month was 22 AC jobs and 8 plumbing call-outs. We had one van.
Added DEWA-certified electricians to the team after clients kept asking. Took the full certification process — 6 months.
Launched AMC contracts after a Marina landlord asked us to manage maintenance for his 9 apartments. That one client became our template for B2B.
Municipality certification for water tank cleaning. By this point we were in 50+ communities and had grown to 15 vans.
Passed 400 Google reviews without ever asking a client to leave one. Expanded to 30+ vans and full coverage across the emirate.
