Handyman Services for Dubai Apartments and Villas
Mounting, assembly, fixing and small repairs around the home — the jobs that are too small for a contractor and too awkward to do yourself on concrete walls.
Every Dubai apartment has a to-do list — the TV that needs mounting, the flat-pack wardrobe that arrived in nine boxes, the curtain rods that have been in a bag in the hallway since move-in day. These jobs are small individually, but the list adds up. Our handymen are multi-skilled, fully equipped professionals who tackle that list systematically. A typical half-day session covers 4–6 standard tasks. Because our team works with concrete walls every day — in a city where everything is either reinforced concrete or hollow block — we carry the right rotary hammers, masonry bits, and fixings for every job. No improvising. No 'I'll come back for that'.
Handyman is one of nine trades covered by our Dubai home maintenance service — the same directly employed team handles all of them.
What our handyman service covers
A handyman visit works best as a list. These are the kinds of jobs people group together.
Wall mounting
TVs on fixed or swing-arm brackets, mirrors, heavy artwork, shelves and floating units, with the fixing chosen for whether the wall is concrete, block or plasterboard.
Furniture assembly
Flat-pack wardrobes, beds, desks and storage, plus anti-tip brackets for tall units — a step that is easy to skip and matters most in a home with children.
Curtains and blinds
Curtain rods, ceiling tracks and blinds, levelled across wide windows and fixed so they do not pull out of the plaster the first time someone draws them hard.
Doors, cabinets and small carpentry
Doors that stick or will not latch, loose hinges and handles, cabinet doors that hang crooked, and skirting or trim that has come away.
Small fixes around the home
Re-sealing around baths and basins, replacing door stops and coat hooks, child-safety fittings, and filling the holes left by previous fixings before a move-out.
Typical handyman lists
Just moved in
TV mounting, curtain rods in every room, wardrobe and bed assembly, and a few shelves. Grouping them into one visit is usually better than booking each separately.
Moving out
Taking down brackets and shelves, filling and sanding the holes, re-hanging original fittings, and fixing anything the inspection is likely to note. If walls need repainting afterwards, that is a painting job.
Things that have worked loose
Wobbly handles, a towel rail coming off the tiles, a curtain rod pulling out of the wall. These usually come back because the original fixing was wrong for the wall, so the fix is a better fixing, not the same one again.
Childproofing
Anchoring tall furniture to the wall, cabinet locks, corner guards and stair or door gates fixed properly rather than pressure-fitted.

How We Work
From your first call to job completion — here's what to expect.
Review your job list
Give us the full list when you book — TV mounting, furniture assembly, curtain rods, everything. We'll estimate the time honestly and make sure we bring the right equipment.
Arrive equipped
Our handymen carry rotary hammers, a full set of masonry and wood bits, spirit levels, stud finders, cable detectors, and a comprehensive fixings kit. No extra trips to the hardware store mid-job.
Work through systematically
We tackle the jobs in a logical order — drilling and fixing before painting, heavy items before smaller ones — to make sure nothing gets damaged or undone by work done later.
No mess left behind
All dust, packaging, and debris from the work is bagged and cleared. We leave the space the way we found it, minus the jobs on your list.
Payment on completion
We charge for the actual time used. If the work takes less time than estimated, you pay less. No padding, no minimum charges beyond the stated minimum visit.
Before the handyman arrives
The more complete the list, the better we can plan the visit.
- The full list of jobs, even the small ones.
- The make and model of the TV and bracket, or the furniture to be assembled.
- Where each item is going, and the height you want things mounted at.
- Any fixings, brackets or hardware that came with the items.
- Whether your building restricts drilling hours.
