Bathroom-only jobs start at AED 8,000 for a strip and retile, but don't expect that to include new plumbing or moving walls. Timing's the tricky part—a full 1-bedroom takes 18 to 25 working days, no shortcuts. That's because of building management rules here. You can't just hammer away; every cluster has its own tower access protocols, and they're strict about noise hours, lift protection, and waste disposal. I've had jobs drag an extra week just waiting for approval from DMCC. One honest limitation: if your apartment's on a lower floor in a lake-facing cluster like X or Y, that humidity eats your timeline. We often need an extra 2 or 3 days for dehumidification before we can paint or lay flooring. So plan for 28 days, not 18.
