Then Water test and chemical balance: We read pH, free chlorine, total alkalinity, calcium hardness and cyanuric acid (stabiliser) with a titration kit, not test strips, and record every result. We finish with Physical cleaning — Debris is skimmed off, the walls and floor are brushed so algae cannot attach, the pool is vacuumed, baskets are cleared, and the filter is backwashed or its cartridges cleaned.
