The problem is the original Nakheel paint from 2005–2008 was cheap stuff — it's now 18 years old and crumbling in spots. We have to sand and patch more than we'd like. A typical Garden Home interior job will run you about AED 69,600 and takes us 7-9 days with a crew of 4. The Signature Villa? That's 12-14 days and about AED 174,000. Timing's tight — you can't paint when humidity's above 75%, which means we avoid July and August for exterior work. Honestly, I'll tell you a limitation: we're not the cheapest. A handyman in Deira might quote you AED 8 per sq ft, but he won't know about the salt air prep or the Nakheel-specific wall texture. And DEWA bills can spike during summer — we run 3 dehumidifiers on site, which adds about AED 120 to your electricity cost over a week. We need building access passes from the Palm's security office, which takes 48 hours to arrange. No shortcuts there.
