Each visit has three parts. First, Weekly scheduled visit — The same technician comes out on a fixed day each week. The van carries chemicals, test kits and the common spare parts, so there is no chasing us and no second trip. Second, Water test and chemical balance — Using commercial-grade titration kits rather than dip strips, we measure pH, free chlorine, total alkalinity, calcium hardness and cyanuric acid (stabiliser), and log every reading. And finally Physical cleaning: We skim the surface, brush the walls and floor to stop algae taking hold, vacuum, clear the skimmer and pump baskets, and backwash sand filters or clean cartridges as needed.
