We've got to coordinate with building management first because the FCU's power supply ties into the apartment's distribution board in a specific way. That coordination alone can add 45 minutes to a simple callout, especially during summer when the building team's slammed. Another issue is the tower access protocols — we're often waiting 10 to 15 minutes just to get the security clearance and the right lift pass. The electrical loads here are also tighter because these are high-rise apartments with shared risers. A faulty socket that's arcing or a burning smell isn't just a local problem; it can affect other units on the same floor. I've seen MCBs trip because of a neighbor's overloaded circuit feeding back through the building supply. That's a headache you don't get in a standalone villa. Residents here pay a premium, so they expect fast, clean work, but they don't always realize the building's systems complicate things.
