City Walk's towers change how pool work gets done. In a villa you walk up to the pool and start. At Central Park at City Walk, you're booking tower access, logging in with building management, and waiting on the service lift before you've even tested a drop of water. Penthouse plunge pools sit in the same AED 350–450/month weekly band as a full villa pool, because the visit is time-based, not volume-based. You're paying for the slot, not the litres.

These pools are small and heavily loaded. A plunge pool on a 2BR terrace holds maybe 3,000 litres, so one hot weekend with four people in it and the free chlorine crashes fast. We run titration tests for pH, free chlorine, total alkalinity, calcium hardness and cyanuric acid, and the stabiliser reading is usually the problem — too much and the chlorine stops working. Pump seals and capacitors run AED 150–400, a full pump swap AED 1,200–2,500, and because the pump sits on an outdoor ledge, City Walk's dust and traffic film clog the baskets quicker than in the suburbs. We see this constantly here.

Honestly, shared compound pools are a different animal — that's a building committee decision, not a homeowner's. We can't control that timeline.

Here's the honest bit. City Walk towers have access protocols, and Meraas building management doesn't hand out pool deck access casually. If your pool sits behind a shared amenity or needs a lift booking, we can't just turn up — someone has to clear us with the building, and that coordination can stall a first visit by days. It's also worth knowing the outdoor condensing units and window tracks pick up urban deposit faster than suburban towers, so those need attention more often. Green water from a neglected plunge pool usually needs a shock treatment and a second visit before it clears. We'd rather tell you that upfront than promise a miracle in one trip.
