For a standard diagnosis and fix — like a capacitor swap or unblocking a condensate drain — you're looking at AED 220 to AED 350, which covers my drive from Al Quoz (25 minutes if traffic's light) and the labor. But if we're talking about a gas refill with R-410A because of a slow leak from salt-air corrosion, that jumps to AED 400–500, because I've got to pressure-test the lines and source the gas. A compressor fault or FCU motor replacement? That's AED 450–650, and it's not just parts — those 15-year-old units in Al Haseer or Al Anbara are a pain to work on. Most jobs take 60 to 90 minutes, but if I've got to replace a fan motor or a bearing that's seized from the marine environment, add another 30 minutes. Here's the honest limitation: I can't always get the exact original motor for your tower's unit, because these buildings went up in 2007–2009 and parts are getting scarce. You'll have to wait 2–3 days if I need to order one from a supplier, no way around it. Don't expect same-day service for that.
